| Artist's Notes 2002-02-17 Coastal Mountains is generated by Fractal Explorer Version 1.23b6. Some color adjustment was used. This is one of the first in a series called Digital Pointillism. It follows the lead of the Neoimpressionism Movement, a branch of Impressionalism. It seems a natural extension because of the pixalation effect that is common in digital images. By using fractal image generation programs to produce these Digital Pointillism images it is hoped that the repeating patterns of fractal images will assist in successful images for this series.
