Alone Program: Fractal Explorer V.1.24 No external manipulation. The Mandelbrot Set, the figure on the left of the image, has become to me a visual metaphor for the human soul or identity. The Mandelbrot contains an infinite capacity to generate new images and information. Although the figure is not obviously human shaped, it does have a symmetry that suggests a life form of some sort, or perhaps an abstraction or symbol for consciousness. 02/18/03 |
