imagine Life Abounds as a
microscopic fractal view of the interface between living cells as they
reproduce and divide. Chromosomes split and membranes form following a
score that is barely heard, yet is surely a momentous symphony if only
we could hear. The patterns in the score that allow life to separate
itself from non-life and to be self-conscious are fabulously fractal. Membrane
