Artist Comments: I imagine Life Abounds as a microscopic fractal view of the interface between living cells as they reproduce and divide. Chromosomes split and membranes form following a score that is barely heard, yet is surely a momentous symphony if only we could hear. The patterns in the score that allow life to separate itself from non-life and to be self-conscious are fabulously fractal.

Membrane surfaces retract from diffusion's wild energy
to fall into fractal orders
layering the differential with analog metaphors,
sealing inner evolutions from outer chaos,
allowing porous rivulets throughout
to signal infinity with its intent
to continue this creation forever.
